MSU Miller Stock Pavilion Renovations

Using funds from the 2009 Top of the West Ranch Horse Sale, in combination with monies from the MSU College of Agriculture, the Equine Boosters organized a renovation of the Miller Stock Pavilion.  Prior to this project, the arena footing was hard, uneven, and dangerous to both horses and riders, the wooden fence rails were rotting and the fence posts were becoming unstable.  During the University's winter break, the old wooden arena fencing and footing was removed and new arena footing and metal posts and rails were installed.  This project was completed in January 2009.

In addition, MSU Facilities Services replaced all the lighting in the arena with new, more efficient and brighter lighting.  This project was completed during the summer of 2009.

PARMA GROOMER PURCHASED FOR ARENA

August, 2009:  The Equine Boosters successfully purchased and donated a new Parma brand arena groomer to the Animal & Range Sciences Department for working the Bob Miller Pavilion!  The students will now enjoy a smooth, uniform surface for riding.
